One of the common question that I have come across being a librarian is regarding ISBN (International Standard for Book Number) and ISSN (International Standard for Serial Number). The common problem faced by self publishers is how to apply for ISBN/ISSN. The ISBN/ISSN are an identifier whereby a publication can be identified by the number being given by the respective agencies.
